What training do you need for that career?
To become volcanologists it require you to have a bachelor's degree at minimum in geology, geophysics, or earth science.
What do you do for an average day on the job?
A Volcanologist is someone who goes out and studies volcanoes and there volcanic activity. Volcanologists frequently visit volcanoes especially active ones so they can observe volcanic eruptions collect eruptive samples including tephra, rock and lava.
